# Terms & conditions — pest control in St Austell
These terms apply to work carried out by Pest Management Cornwall, Par, St Austell, Cornwall.

## Quotes and prices
The price for a job is agreed with you before work begins. Where a problem turns out to be different from what was described on the phone, we will tell you before doing anything and you can decide whether to go ahead. Prices are not published on this website because they depend on the pest, the property and the access involved.

## Booking and access
You are responsible for providing safe access to the areas that need treating, and for telling us about anything that affects safety — children, pets, livestock, allergies, vulnerable occupants, asbestos, or unsafe roofs, ladders and lofts. Where preparation is required before a visit (for example clearing cupboards, washing bedding or lifting items off floors) the treatment may be less effective if it has not been done.

## How the work is carried out
Work is carried out using humane and lawful methods appropriate to the species involved. Proofing and trapping are used in preference to poison, and rodenticide is used only where it is genuinely necessary or specifically requested. Bees are rehomed rather than destroyed. Protected species are handled in accordance with the law, which may affect what can be done and when.

## Results and follow-up
Pest control depends on factors outside our control, including neighbouring properties, the condition of the building, food waste and how closely aftercare advice is followed. We will tell you honestly what to expect and what to look out for. No specific outcome, timescale or written guarantee is promised on this website; anything agreed for your job is agreed directly with you.

## Payment and cancellation
Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking or on completion of the work. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as early as you can so the slot can be offered to someone else. Where you have booked as a consumer at a distance, your statutory cancellation rights apply; if you ask for urgent work to be carried out immediately, you may be charged for work already done.

## Damage and liability
Proofing and treatment can require access to lofts, roofs and voids, and minor marking can occur when sealing or fitting materials. We take reasonable care at all times. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
